Ideas and innovations in the hair care field are the reason more people are able to access the resources they need to build confidence and improve their lives overall. Education enables people to contribute positively to society and make the world a better place. At Eldorado Hair, we want to help talented individuals achieve their goals and obtain the resources needed to pursue their educations. We are proud to offer an annual scholarship to one student per year who plans to pursue a degree and/or course of studies related to hair care or trichology or who has an interest in this field in general.

Scholarship Amount

Eldorado Hair is offering an annual scholarship of $500 to one student who is or will be enrolled in an accredited university, college, or trade school.

Who Can Apply?

Any student enrolled in an accredited school can apply.

How to Apply for the Scholarship

• Submit an essay of 1000+ words that responds to the following question: Why do people need access to quality hair services? This can include hair replacement, hair restoration, color work, barbering services, hair hygiene, and more. How can these services positively affect and/or change people’s lives? Include your thoughts about and how lack of access to these services may affect people and ideas related to making these services more accessible
• Essay submissions open April 1^st, 2023 and close December 31^st, 2023.
• Submissions should be sent to outreach@eldoradohair.com as a .doc or .docx file.
• Include “Scholarship Essay Submission” in the subject line of your email.
• Non-original essays will be disqualified, including essays published online in any format.
• Essays will be judged based on response to the prompt, clarity of ideas, and quality of writing.
• The winner will be announced January of 2024 and notified via email.
